This happens with this card. I sure laugh because of that little switch on my memory card. Thanks for the help, this side is just great. It has to do with the size and not how new/ old the technology is. 1 gig SD memory cards for small cameras work while others such as 4 gig SD/HC Although the SDHC card looks exactly the same as a standard SD card, the format the card uses is very different. Cut a tiny piece of clear cellophane tape (use scissors to trim it), and place it tightly over the slot where the locking switch is, or was.
