You don't want that. Trying to start in Safe mode or normally has it stop on a black screen with only the cursor showing(which does respond to commands). When it gets to the bad block it just stops and I have to shut down and reboot. I did a pre-boot assesment from diagnostics using F12 options and got through 8% of the DST Short Test and returned an Error Code 0146, Msg: Error Code 2000-0146, MSg: Hard The BIOS must be set to boot from the CD. just wait patiently and press a key when ask. Follow the prompts Format the drive ntfs....short or long method is fine after windows is done put in the driver disk install the chipset first then the ricoh driver..also listed under Get them to send you a new HDD and restore disks. If I just run chkdsk /f it just reports back on the dos partition.
