i found both options were available (uefi along with legacy; and secure boot enable/disble when i selected uefi) so, i am assuming, i will be able to select uefi, secure boot Having used bootable images in the past, I had some ideas as to where to look â€“ but this is BIOS after all and I donâ€™t want to brick the system. I assume you put in a fresh CR2032 battery?
I made the backup & recovery disks and downloaded all of the latest drivers from the HP site. You can use Win7 32bit, as the Dell Vista drivers are compatible with it. Install chipset drivers should take care of that problem too. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can try to update the BIOS on this machine?
