As such I recommend performing one of these processes in an attempt to confirm the correct cartridge has been replaced. Have had my Pixma 860 since 2010 and have done everything to fix it including buying new ink and new printhead. Everything got real quiet and my LCD screen popped up, looking totally normal.

Canon by far make the best ink jet printers, forget the rest! Hey presto suddenly with this last action the B200 error was gone, and normal service resumed. Have the same B200 error.No one has mentioned the lighting up of the ink cartridges which means that it is functional.The only time that the ink cartridge chariot lights up and July 22, 2012 at 11:07 AM Matt S said... I had already taken the advice on here about taking out the printer head and cleaning it using hot water, drying the head completely, and refitting it back in the printer.
