I tried blowing air into the card slot, but it didn't work. After seeing their process to recover the photos and all the success from customers this was my last option. Your videos and blog were the best and most informative, which is why I'm asking for your help. Anyone else have this problem? Doesn't happen though in my G9 so I am not sure it is the card itself. Today the camera is working fine so as yet don't know if because of the format.
Elysa,Sounds like the internal switch may be gummed up. I've replaced the LCD screen before thanks to your help. :) It has worked for a couple years now. Taped Locking Tab Slot FIX 5: If you've come this far and you're still getting a "card locked" error, it may be time to consider opening the camera to force open Also another thing to try is removing the batteries and then the card.
