I have a FUJIFILM FINEPIX S1 PRO. Canon Powershot Sd750 Memory Card Error So yes indeed somehow the slide lock was on and when I moved it back to normal - whoo hoo the camara now works again. For Nokia Users with MicroSD : Put the card in any E series mobile or N95 etc and format it. Then later today I turned it on again but it said I had no memory card installed.

I read your post and put my previous 2gb SD card in and my camera worked fine, so now I know I need the older SD cards. As a result, some of your files can become corrupted if you're using older cards with newer cameras. Googled it and found your site. Fix 4A is working great!!! I think i probably have a defective model. You might not even need to use the listed recovery software. Being such delicate electronics, it would help to know what to watch for.
